Classic Deviled Eggs
The base prep instructions are the same across all variations of deviled egg recipes so we’ll cover that here. Boil your eggs, cool them down thoroughly and then peel them. Halve the eggs and separate the yolks from the whites. Put the whites aside and mix the yolks in a bowl with mayonnaise, hot sauce, and Dijon mustard. Season with salt and pepper. Spoon the mixture into each egg half and then garnish with chives and paprika.
Mardi Gras Deviled Eggs
Pickle the hard-boiled eggs with purple cabbage to dye the whites and add a little Cajun seasoning to the mixture to add some festive Mardi Gras spice.
This one is as simple as it sounds! Just add avocado to the mixture to add a creamy element to your deviled eggs. A little hot sauce even brings a distinctly southwestern flair to the table.
Shrimp Cocktail Deviled Eggs
Don’t knock it until you try it. Combine two of the most popular party apps into one by adding some boiled or steamed shrimp to the top of the finished deviled eggs. It’s sure to get noticed and eaten!
Buffalo Deviled Eggs
Like buffalo wings? You’ll love Buffalo deviled eggs. Add your favorite Buffalo sauce to the deviled egg mixture and some crumbled blue cheese on top.
Bacon Jalapeno Deviled Eggs
Everything’s better with bacon and the same goes for deviled eggs. Fry up a pan of bacon and then crumble it into the deviled egg mixture. For some extra spice and flair, add jalapeno peppers to the mix.
